Québec Autoroutes

Joseph-Armand-Bombardier and Transquébecoise Autoroute (A-55)

Since September 28th 2004, the portion of A-55 located south of A-20 has been officialy given the name «Autoroute Joseph-Armand-Bombardier». Autoroute Transquébecoise (Trans-Québec Autoroute) remained, on the portion north of A-20.

Transquébecoise Autoroute has great point of views between USA and Jct. A-10. A-55 then shares its roadway with Eastern-Townships Autoroute. After, A-55 is newly twinned (2003-2006). Originally, A-55 was planned to run through Richmond and Victoriaville (A-955).
